Questions
Questions we get most
What does a C-21 license cover?
C-21 is the Nevada class for refrigeration and air-conditioning contractors. It covers repair and replacement of cooling equipment. It does not cover plumbing, gas piping or electrical work beyond the equipment's own connection.
Do you give quotes in writing?
Always, before any repair. The quote lists the parts, the labor and what the repair does not cover, by text or email. If we find something else, we stop and call.
What does a visit cost?
We quote the visit fee when you call and again at the door. If you approve the repair, the fee is credited toward it.
Do you answer calls at night?
Not around the clock. The shop phone is staffed Monday to Friday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. After that, Carlton answers when he can, and voicemail is returned by 7 a.m.
Is a plan the same as insurance?
No. A plan is a service agreement: scheduled visits, a priority window and a labor discount with terms. Parts and repairs are quoted separately.
How do I cancel a plan?
Call or text before your renewal date. We text a reminder 30 days ahead.
Do you replace equipment?
Yes. When a repair stops making sense, we say so, show you the numbers and quote a replacement in writing. You decide.
Do you handle refrigerant?
Our technicians carry the EPA Section 608 card that federal rules require. We find and fix a leak before we add refrigerant.
What should I do if my walk-in is warm?
Keep the door closed, note the temperature, check the power and call. The walk-in page lists what to do with product.
Which towns do you work in?
Henderson and the southeast side of the valley. The service area list is on the home and contact pages.
Still have a question?
Call the shop or send a message. We answer during staffed hours.
