The shop

A four-person shop in Henderson

Carlton Abney opened the shop after the Army. The crew is small on purpose.

Carlton learned cooling equipment keeping it running on bases, and moved to Henderson to work for himself. Analilia Cerda leads the kitchen work. Jomar Deluna runs the home calls. Melody Kavanaugh answers the phone. Because there are four of us, the person who quotes the job is the person who stands behind it.

  • Four people, one phone line

  • Quotes in writing before work

  • Plain hours, printed on every page

The crew

Who is on the phone and on the roof

Each of us is on the quote and the report, so you always know who to call back.

  • Carlton Abney

    Owner and license holder

Quotes the larger jobs and answers after-hours calls when he can. Served in the Army before opening the shop.

  • Analilia Cerda

    Refrigeration lead

Walk-ins, reach-ins and ice machines. First call for any kitchen on a plan.

  • Jomar Deluna

    Air conditioning technician

Home calls and tune-ups across Henderson and the southeast valley.

  • Melody Kavanaugh

    Office and dispatch

Answers the shop phone, gives you a window and sends the written quote and report.

Habits

How we work

Three habits that do not change from house to kitchen.

  • Say it plainly

We tell you what failed, what it costs and what we cannot do.

  • Write it down

The quote comes before the repair. The report comes after.

  • Test before we leave

We run it until it holds, and show you the readings.
